  I have never seen staff wipe down any equipment. Since patrons rarely do, this stuff must be like a petri dish of sweat-deposited bacteria. A lot of the TV's on the equipment is not working. Manager has been informed yet nothing ever done about it. Hot tub looks nasty. San Gabriel Valley Tribune recently noted that the independently owned Cafe, Muscle Bar, inside this facility was shut down by health department due to a cockroach infestation. Gross. I'm assuming those cockroaches wander elsewhere in this club. Perhaps to eat the sweaty deposits all over the equipment or to drink out of the nasty pool? LA fitness, stop building beautiful clubs only to stop paying attention to their upkeep while continuing to have staff concentrate on gaining ever more members. I get that is how the business model works but, perhaps, a better model can evolve that keeps clients happy and spending more money in better run concessions.
